AKP | Phnom Penh, June 17, 2025 — Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of Cambodia, has questioned why the Thai side felt the need to establish a task force to monitor his Facebook account if they are really innocent.
“Thai news outlet The Nation reported on 17 June 2025 that a new task force has been established today to address escalating tensions along the border, primarily stemming from daily social media posts by former Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen,” he wrote on a social media this evening.
“Why should you be afraid of my Facebook account?” the former Prime Minister of Cambodia asked in the post.
“I am simply speaking the truth—explaining the reality of what has happened to my country, the acts of aggression against Cambodia’s sovereignty. I feel the need to inform my fellow citizens and international friends about these truths,” he added.
“Why is it necessary to create a task force to monitor my Facebook if you are truly innocent?” he emphasised.
