AKP, September 11, 2017 –Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, departed here this morning for the 14th ASEAN-China Expo in Nanning city, Guangxi province, People’s Republic of China from Sept. 11-13, 2017.
Addressing to the graduation ceremony of medical students before his departure, Samdech Techo Hun Sen pledged to lobby more businessmen, investors, financial operators etc. from China and ASEAN to boost trade, tourism and investment in Cambodia.
According to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Cambodian leader will deliver his remarks at the Opening Ceremony of the 14th ASEAN-China Expo with the aim to further promote trade relations between ASEAN and China as well as to attract Chinese investors and tourists to the ASEAN region.
Thereafter, Samdech Techo Hun Sen will preside over the ribbon cutting ceremony to inaugurate the national pavilion of Cambodia as well as visit Cambodia’s trade exhibition hall. Samdech Techo Hun Sen will also attend the opening ceremony of the national pavilion of Brunei Darussalam.
During his stay in China, Samdech Techo Hun Sen will meet with H.E. Zhang Gaoli, Vice Premier of China, and receive separate courtesy calls by H.E. Song Tao, Minister of International Liaison Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, and H.E. Chen Wu, Governor of Guangxi province.
Besides, he will meet with Cambodian students in Nanning and grant interview to the Chinese Media.
