<\/a><\/p>\nThe intention was reported by Minister Delegate Attached to the Prime Minister H.E. Kao Kim Hourn, following a farewell meeting granted this morning to outgoing South Korean Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Oh Nak-young by Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen.<\/p>\n
According to the reporting, Samdech Techo Hun Sen underlined that more and more Cambodians are working in various industries in South Korea \u2013 the opportunity allowing better individual and family income as well as advanced technical skills and experience.<\/p>\n
Some 8,000 Cambodian \u2013 400 of them are men \u2013 have married to South Korean spouses by far, which is a positive indication toward closer human bonding between the two nations, added the Premiere.<\/p>\n
Trade volume between Cambodia and South Korea is increasing, however, the Prime Minister encouraged the country to expand its import of Cambodian agricultural products and to come an invest more in the Kingdom in order to further boost the bilateral trading.<\/p>\n
H.E. Oh Nak-young took the recommendations of the Cambodian Prime Minister seriously, echoing that though he is ending his diplomatic mission in Cambodia soon,\u00a0there are many priorities to build on between the two countries, including sub-regional (Mekong-Korea) and regional coordination.<\/p>\n
The ambassador spoke highly of increasing Cambodia-South Korea cooperation, particularly in trade, economy, and tourism, and acknowledged Cambodia\u2019s key role as coordinator of\u00a0\u00a0ASEAN-Republic of Korea Dialogue Relations whose anniversary will be celebrated in November this year.<\/p>\n
