Phnom Penh, March 18, 2019 –Cambodia’s Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen received here this morning Mr. Chen Qiuxiong, Director General of Harbour Real Estate Co., Ltd. In the courtesy meeting, Mr. Chen Qiuxiong donated US$1 million to support Samdech Techo\u2019s lawyer team established to assist poor women, said H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Assistant to the Cambodian Premier.<\/p>\n Mr. Chen also spoke highly of the progress in Cambodia in the past five years.<\/p>\n For his part, Samdech Techo Hun Sen encouraged Mr. Chen Qiuxiong to continue investing in Cambodia, and thanked him for donation, as well as briefed him on the aim of his lawyer team.<\/p>\n Samdech Techo Hun Sen has recently announced his initiative to establish this lawyer team at the celebration of the 108th International Women\u2019s Day (Mar. 8) in Phnom Penh in early March. This group will be headed by a chief and four deputy chiefs.<\/p>\n According to the Premier, Samdech Techo\u2019s legal team whose primary aim is to assist poor and vulnerable women is composed of more than 67 members.<\/p>\n By Khan Sophirom<\/p>\n
