<\/a><\/p>\nThe Cambodian Premier made the suggestion while receiving H.E. Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, Nepalese Minister of Foreign Affairs, during the former\u2019s stay in Katmandu, Nepal yesterday.<\/p>\n
Samdech Techo Hun Sen thanked the Nepalese side for the warm hospitality, saying that this is the first ever visit of Cambodian top leader to Nepal after the establishment of both countries\u2019 diplomatic relations. He hoped that through the visit, the bilateral ties of friendship and cooperation will be further fostered.<\/p>\n
The Cambodian Prime Minister also highly valued the success of Nepal in its national unification, and shared with the Nepalese foreign minister the experience of Cambodia in national division, reunification as well as the country\u2019s current progress.<\/p>\n
For his part, H.E. Pradeep Kumar Gyawali lauded the rapid development in Cambodia and affirmed his country\u2019s intention to boost the cooperation in tourism and trade, two potential fields of the two countries.<\/p>\n
There would be direct flight between Nepal and Cambodia after the former opened a new airport next year, he added, underlining that by then, Nepalese people can visit Angkor Wat Temple of Cambodia while Cambodian people can visit Nepal, the birthplace of Lord Buddha.<\/p>\n
Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen arrived in Nepal on Nov. 29 afternoon for an official visit and for the \u201cAsia-Pacific Summit 2018-Nepal\u201d in Kathmandu until Dec. 2, at the invitation of his Nepalese counterpart H.E. Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli.<\/p>\n
