AKP Phnom Penh, February 01, 2018 \u2013\u00a0Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has congratulated the country\u2019s healthy economic conditions.<\/a><\/p>\n Speaking at the graduation ceremony and inauguration ceremony of a new building of the Institute of Technology of Cambodia<\/span> in Phnom Penh this morning, the premier said Cambodia\u2019s paddy production reached some 5.5 million tons last year, while the agriculture sector contributed some 25 percent to the economic growth.<\/p>\n Besides, he added, services and industrial sectors accounted for about 45 and 30 percent, respectively.<\/p>\n Cambodia\u2019s economic activities remain robust, and the income from the customs and tax collection, the two major state revenues, is also strong and reliable, he underlined.<\/p>\n At the same time, Samdech Techo Hun Sen shared his optimistim over the bilateral trade with some nations.<\/p>\n According to the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Cambodia\u2019s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita in 2018 is projected to be at US$1,568, up from US$1,435 last year. The country\u2019s foreign reserves would increase from US$9,050 million in 2017 to US$10,518 million this year.
