<\/a><\/p>\nAccording to his official Facebook page, while presiding over the inauguration ceremony of achievements of Intelligence Training Building in Khan Prek Pnov, Phnom Penh, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said the political parties have no legal right to command the armed forces, except the government.<\/p>\n
The army is the state\u2019s tool, but not that of any political parties, therefore there is no neutrality between the army and the royal government and the political parties, he underlined.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t give commands to the army in the name of a political party\u2019s head, but as the Prime Minister. There is no \u2018neutrality\u2019 word between the royal government and the political parties [\u2026],\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
On the occasion, the Cambodian premier also encouraged the army to further continue paying high attention to terrorism, colour revolution, and national defence. \u201cThe army is the people\u2019s faithful servants [\u2026] no armed forces have been successful without support from the people,\u201d stressed Samdech Techo Hun Sen.<\/p>\n
