Phnom Penh, March 19, 2019 -Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen of the Kingdom of Cambodia has stressed that the Honorary Doctorate of Philosophy in Political Communication conferred upon him by Krirk University of Thailand was a pride of the whole Cambodian people.
Speaking at the conferment ceremony held here this morning at the Peace Palace, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said that it was a pride of the Cambodians because what he had done was for the cause of the nation and his beloved people who always support and trust him and the Cambodian People’s Party in the country’s direction.
“The honour I received also reflects the stronger relations between the two countries and peoples that have been strengthened in all areas – political, economic, trade and human resource development,” he added.
Dr. Krasae Chanawongse, President of Krirk University, laid stress on the skills and cleverness of Samdech Techo Hun Sen in leading Cambodia, especially in the national reconciliation and country’s development.
According to Dr. Krasae Chanawongse, the Cambodian Premier is the first foreign leader to obtain the Honorary Doctorate of Philosophy in Political Communication from Krirk University.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen has received many awards and honorary doctorates from different countries and region including China, South Korea, Malaysia, Russia, Thailand, Vietnam, the United States and the European Union.
