AKP Phnom Penh, September 12, 2018 —Sambor Prei Kuk Temple, a UNESCO’s World Heritage Site, in Kampong Thom province is the theme of the National Pavilion of Cambodia, the Country of Honour, in the 15th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) being held in Nanning, China’s Guangxi province.
According to a news release of the Ministry of Commerce, the 45×60 metre National Pavilion displays Cambodian potential products and services on 146 booths and showcases Cambodian culture through art performances.
Beside the National Pavilion, the Ministry of Commerce has also organised short workshops to disseminate investment policy and business environment in Cambodia as well as the signing ceremony of agreements on 12 new investment projects worth some US$79.63 million between Cambodian entrepreneurs and Chinese investors.
The 15th CAEXPO, taking place from Sept. 12 to 15 under the theme “Jointly Building the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road and the China-ASEAN Community of Innovation” exhibits various products from ASEAN and China and promotes cooperation of private sector in business, trade, investment and tourism.
