AKP Phnom Penh, March 31, 2018 –Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen held talks in Ha Noi, Viet Nam yesterday with Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister H.E. Wang Yi, on the sidelines of the 6th Greater Mekong Sub-region (6th GMS) Summit back-to-back with the 10th Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Summit on Development Triangle Area (10th CLV-DTA).
According to the National Television of Kampuchea (TVK)’s report, H.E. Wang Yi expressed China’s full support to the Royal Government of Cambodia’s measures to protect peace and maintain political stability in the country.
H.E. Wang Yi said China will further support the Cambodia’s development way and the Chinese leaders wished Samdech Techo Hun Sen victory in the forthcoming election for more progress to Cambodia.
For his part, Samdech Techo Hun Sen congratulated H.E. Wang Yi on his reelection as Foreign Minister by the National People’s Congress and also conveyed his greetings to the Chinese leaders.
Besides, Samdech Techo Hun Sen and H.E. Wang Yi exchanged views on bilateral and multilateral relations, regional and international issues, especially the current global situation.
